Re-codification of City’s Code 33 <br />34 <br />35 <br />36 <br />37 <br />38 <br />39 <br />40 <br />41 <br />42 <br />43 <br />44 <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes explained that one of the City’s 2007 goals was for staff to <br />research the need to re-codify the City’s Code of Ordinances and to solicit bids. She stated staff <br />contacted Mr. Duke Addicks, special counsel for the League of Minnesota Cities, Member <br />Services, and asked him to submit a proposal for re-codification. Ms. Moore-Sykes commented <br />the Code of Ordinances was last re-codified in 1993. <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Moore-Sykes stated Mr. Addicks responded with a proposal for the re- <br />codification process and a proposed cost of $11,995, plus any costs incurred as a result of the re- <br />codification of the City’s code. She reported the scope of the proposed work under the proposed <br />cost includes: a review of the City’s current code of ordinances and all ordinances and
