I CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 2 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 3 NOVEMBER 8, 2016 4 5 CALL TO ORDER. Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 10 11 Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 12 13 Present: Mayor Faust Councilmembers Brever, Jenson, and Stille 14 Absent: Councilmember Gray 15 Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey 16 17 18 CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 19 ITEMS. OW 21 I. APPROVAL OF THE NOVEMBER 8, 2016, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 22 23 Motion by Councilmember Brever, seconded by Councilmember Jenson to approve the City 24 Council Meeting Agenda of November 8, 2016. 25 26 Motion carried 4 -0. 27 28 II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 29 30 A. Presentation by Ramsey County Sheriff Matt Bostrom. 31 32 Sheriff Bostrom reviewed the activities the Ramsey County Sheriff Department has been 33 involved with including Coffee With A Cop, Hot Dog with a Deputy, and Shop With a Cop. He 34 reminded residents to turn in prescription drugs to the Sheriffs Department. Sheriff Bostrom 35 noted when hiring employees, they look for people with four character traits. He reviewed the 36 services provided by the Ramsey County Sheriff Department. He described the PRIME unit 37 within the detention center and shared some examples of things that have been positive. 38 39 Mayor Faust stated he appreciates the Sheriff Department's outreach in the community and the 40 prescription drug drop -off program. 41 42 III. CONSENT AGENDA. 43 44 A. Approval of October 25, 2016, City Council meeting minutes 45 B. Licenses and Permits. 46 C. Claims. 47 48 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Brever, to approve the Consent 49 Agenda items as presented.
