Resolution 16-085; a Resolution Approving the Preliminary and Final Plat for the St. 10 <br />Anthony Village Center and Associated Variances. 11 <br /> 12 <br /> This item was withdrawn upon request of the Applicant. 13 <br /> 14 <br />VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL 15 <br /> 16 <br />A. Resolution 16-085; a Resolution Approving Certain Real Estate Documents for St. 17 <br />Anthony Village Center. 18 <br /> 19 <br />This item was withdrawn upon request of the Applicant. 20 <br /> 21 <br />B. Resolution 16-086; a Resolution Accepting Plans and Specifications and Ordering 22 <br />Advertisement for Bids for the 2017 Street and Utility Improvements. 23 <br /> 24 <br />City Engineer Pete Willenbring reviewed this resolution for City Council consideration approves 25 <br />the plans and specifications and authorizes the advertisement for bids for the 2017 Street and 26 <br />Utility Improvement Project. Bids are anticipated to be opened on or near January 12, 2017 and 27 <br />the results will be brought back to Council in January. The method for selection for the 28 <br />remaining streets and utility reconstruction projects are flood relief deterioration, pavement 29 <br />condition, and adjacent infrastructure replacement (construction phasing). Street reconstruction 30 <br />will be done on Penrod Lane, Skycroft Drive, Maplewood Drive and Chelmsford Road with Mill 31 <br />and Overlay on Silver Lake Court. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Mr. Willenbring indicated on a map the sanitary sewer system improvements, water system 34 <br />improvements, drainage improvements, street reconstruction, and mill and overlay. The project 35 <br />costs and funding breakdown were reviewed with a total of $739,600 in special assessments and 36 <br />$2,270,800 in City costs for a total of $3,010,400. Funding sources will be special assessment 37 <br />and 429 Public Improvement Bonds with 75 parcels being assessed. Mr. Willenbring reviewed 38 <br />the Project Schedule and explained that project notifications are available on the City’s Website. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Councilmember Stille asked typically how long does the mill and overlay last. Mr. Willenbring 41 <br />stated if the base is good, it would last 15-25 years. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Brever, to approve Resolution 44 <br />16-086; a Resolution Accepting Plans and Specifications and Ordering Advertisement for Bids 45 <br />for the 2017 Street and Utility Improvements. 46 <br /> 47 <br />Motion carried 4-0. 48 <br />2
