Resolution 16 -085; a Resolution Approving Certain Real Estate Documents for St <br />19 Anthony Village Center. <br />20 <br />21 This item was withdrawn upon request of the Applicant. <br />22 <br />23 B. Resolution 16 -086• a Resolution Accepting Plans and Specifications and Ordering <br />24 Advertisement for Bids for the 2017 Street and Utility Improvements <br />25 <br />26 City Engineer Pete Willenbring reviewed this resolution for City Council consideration approves <br />27 the plans and specifications and authorizes the advertisement for bids for the 2017 Street and <br />28 Utility Improvement Project. Bids are anticipated to be opened on or near January 12, 2017 and <br />29 the results will be brought back to Council in January. The method for selection for the <br />30 remaining streets and utility reconstruction projects are flood relief deterioration, pavement <br />31 condition, and adjacent infrastructure replacement (construction phasing). Street reconstruction <br />32 will be done on Penrod Lane, Skycroft Drive, Maplewood Drive and Chelmsford Road with Mill <br />33 and Overlay on Silver Lake Court. <br />34 <br />35 Mr. Willenbring indicated on a map the sanitary sewer system improvements, water system <br />36 improvements, drainage improvements, street reconstruction, and mill and overlay. The project <br />37 costs and funding breakdown were reviewed with a total of $739,600 in special assessments and <br />38 $2,270,800 in City costs for a total of $3,010,400. Funding sources will be special assessment <br />39 and 429 Public Improvement Bonds with 75 parcels being assessed. Mr. Willenbring reviewed <br />40 the Project Schedule and explained that project notifications are available on the City's Website. <br />41 <br />42 Councilmember Stille asked typically how long does the mill and overlay last. Mr. Willenbring <br />43 stated if the base is good, it would last 15 -25 years. <br />44 <br />45 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Brever, to approve Resolution <br />46 16-086, Resolution Acceptiniz Plans and Specifications and Orderiniz Advertisement for Bids <br />47 for the 2017 Street and Utility Improvements. <br />
