Mayor Faust noted on the budget $6.4 million – 51% comes from real estate taxes with the 1 <br />remainder coming from fees and other charges. This used to be higher than 51%. Resolution 16-090; a Resolution Approving the 2017 Appointments and the Chair and 9 <br />Vice Chair to the Parks Commission. 10 <br /> 11 <br />City Manager Casey reviewed the City Council conducted interviews for the 2017 appointments 12 <br />to the Parks Commission and will appoint Marnie Overman to the Parks Commission beginning 13 <br />January 1, 2017 for a three-year term. By approval of this resolution, the City Council will 14 <br />appoint Scott Bentz as Chair and Erin Jordahl Redlin as Vice Chair of the Parks Commission for 15 <br />2017. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Motion by Councilmember Brever, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution 18 <br />16-090; a Resolution Approving the 2017 Appointments and Appointing the Chair and Vice Chair 19 <br />to the Parks Commission. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 22 <br /> 23 <br />B.
