2015 Annual Report • Administration • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

35

TECH DUMP
This year, the City hosted TechDump for the second consecutive year. Residents brought in
3,789 pounds of electronic devices that were broken or outdated to be properly recycled by the
non-profit TechDump, which is the electronics recycling division of the Jobs Foundation.
TechDump provides stable jobs to adults with barriers to employment and helps them obtain
marketable job skills and a pathway to self-sufficiency. This event also sparked interest in the
Saint Anthony Village Middle School’s Lego League participants, who partnered with Tech
Dump to create a presentation concerning a youth-centered electronics recycling program. The
students won first place at a competition in December and are working with other community
groups to organize additional outreach and collection of electronics recycling in early 2016.
