2015 Annual Report • Public Works Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />During 2015 the Water/Sewer Division completed the following projects: <br /> Assisted in the installation of a backup emergency power supply <br />generator at the Harding Street sanitary sewer lift station <br />location. <br /> Assisted with the cleaning of the 500,000 gallon underground <br />water reuse tank located within the city hall complex. <br /> Annual hydrant inspection, flushing and repair. <br /> Inspection and maintenance of the city’s water <br />distribution system and well pumps. <br /> Maintenance and repair of sanitary sewer lift station <br />sites. <br /> 2014 CCR Report. <br /> <br />VEHICLE MAINTENANCE DIVISION <br />The Vehicle Maintenance Division (Fleet Maintenance) provides the necessary vehicle <br />maintenance and repairs all the City’s Public Works vehicles and equipment, which includes <br />both licensed and non-licensed equipment. In addition, the division supports the Police and Fire <br />Department with their maintenance needs. The City’s existing Vehicle Maintenance Division <br />staff is trained and licensed to certify all vehicles in the fleet meet DOT standards and pass <br />inspections on an annual basis. <br />The Maintenance Division assists in the purchase and specification process when replacing <br />capital equipment for the Public Works Department. It has always been the goal of this division <br />to provide the necessary service and repair of all city owned equipment in a manner which is <br />competitive with outside service alternatives. <br />The Public Works capital equipment purchases included as follows: <br /> 2015 Utilities Maintenance Division 4x4 pickup truck with <br />3,200 lb. capacity crane. <br /> 2015 Parks Maintenance Division Utility Vehicle for park <br />maintenance. <br /> 2015 Street Maintenance Division Bobcat Skidsteer <br />Replacement Program.
