2015 Annual Report • Public Works Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota

6

In addition to the capital equipment that was replaced, a fleet
management software program was purchased in 2015 and is being
implemented into the division. RTA Fleet Management Software
enables personnel to directly track preventative maintenance
schedules, past repairs (including parts used), mileage and hours, and
warranty schedules. The software communicates directly with the on-site fueling station,
updating each vehicle or equipment’s information every time it is fueled. The program alerts
personnel when preventative maintenance and replacement parts are due based on adjustable
parameters. It will also indicate the frequency of repairs to any vehicle or piece of equipment.
The implementation of the program will contribute to accurate scheduling and budgeting
within the division and all city departments.
CITY BUILDINGS DIVISION
The City Buildings Division provides the necessary
maintenance and repair to all the City’s buildings.

In 2015, projects included:
City-owned building lighting upgrades: City Hall/Community Center and Fire Station
both received LED lighting upgrades. The Fire Station received both interior and exterior
lighting retrofits. While the Community Center
exterior and parking lot lights were completed.
Upgrades to the interior of the Community
Center are scheduled for 2016.
A complete energy audit to include electric, gas
and water was conducted on the City
Hall/Community Center in 2015. The outcome of
the audit will help us to determine a strategy to
conserve resources.
