Fire Code <br />PERMITS <br />The Fire Marshal’s offi ce issues campfi re permits to <br />ensure safety conditions are met and pollution issues are <br />minimized. In addition, there are several other permits <br />outlined in the State Fire Code and required by City Code. <br />Fire alarm, temporary occupancy, hot works, hazardous <br />materials, and burn permits are a few of the other <br />permits. In 2014, 77 campfi re permits were issued. <br />CONSTRUCTION PLAN REVIEW <br />The Fire Department completes construction plan <br />reviews to ensure compliance with the State and <br />National codes in the area of site plan, fi re alarm <br />systems, fi re sprinkler systems, egress plans, hazardous <br />operations, construction and operational plans <br />INSPECTIONS <br />Inspections of buildings and facilities are conducted to ensure compliance <br />with State and National codes and standards. These inspection include <br />general fi re prevention inspections and inspections of specifi c systems and <br />services.
