I. Message from the Chief <br />2014 Annual Report · Fire Department · St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br />1 <br />The job of a fi refi ghter is a pretty incredible one. We are given the <br />opportunity to do some pretty amazing things for the citizens that <br />we serve. When people pick up the phone and call 911, they trust <br />that the fi refi ghters who show up are competent, compassionate, <br />well trained and have the ability to solve their problem. That these <br />professionals are going to make a tough day a little better. <br />The expectations of that resident or business owner are high and may <br />seem diffi cult to live up to. What I would like to share with you is that <br />the expectations that we have of ourselves are higher. That not only <br />do we strive to provide the best service that we can, we look to do it <br />day in and day out consistently. <br />Of the 784 fi re departments in the State of Minnesota, we here <br />at the St. Anthony Fire Department focus on the one that serves <br />you the residents. I believe that the dedication the members of this <br />department have to the community and to each other is what makes <br />us succeed as an organization. To continually look inward and refocus <br />on performance and our drive to improve is what pushes us to get <br />better on a daily basis. <br />On behalf of the men and woman of the St. Anthony Fire Department <br />I am proud to present my 2014 Annual Report. <br />I.
