In the evening worshippers will
come to pray and share food and eat after sunset. These prayers also
give Muslims a chance to meet at the Mosque every day during this
period, and so they help to improve relationships in the Muslim
community.
• Food is limited to a pot luck meal everyone brings something to share
food items and will not include a commercial kitchen. The traditional
meal would be eating a few Dates
• Since this activity occurs after working hours there would be no conflict
with the office and other tenant business use.
The Conditional use permit would be a requirement for the Mosque (prayer area)
which is an assembly use. This will also cover other activities such as the waiting and
lounge area which are large group social areas.
The location is ideal and convenient to the Muslim community it servers.
Thank you for your consideration in this Matter.
Sincerely,
Michael A.
