St. Anthony 2040 Comprehensive Plan Chapter 7: Sanitary Sewer <br />150 <br /> <br />I/I Analysis <br />St. Anthony’s sanitary sewer system currently consists of approximately <br />25 miles of gravity main, three lift stations, and 4,500 feet of forcemain. At <br />least 66 percent of the residential housing in the City was constructed <br />prior to 1970, and of the pre-1970 private services, all have been <br />evaluated for I/I. <br />A comparison of the average annual flow versus average dry weather <br />flow by meter service area for 2011-2015 is presented in Table 9. The <br />purpose of this comparison is to give a general indication of the extent of <br />I/I in the region, assuming that I/I is limited during dry months. Dry <br />weather flow is calculated as the average flow during the winter months <br />(December, January, and February). The disparity between average <br />annual and dry weather flow indicates there is still some inflow and <br />infiltration into the system, although that disparity exhibits a slight <br />decreasing trend over the five years shown. <br />TABLE 7-9: DRY W EATHER FLOW VS.
