Sustainability <br />Mission: To be a progressive and livable community, “walkable” Village which is sustainable, <br />safe and secure. <br />MINNESOTA GREENCORPS MEMBER <br />In 2016, the City worked with their assigned Minnesota GreenCorps Member, Kristin Seaman. <br />Kristin is a graduate from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, with a B.S. in <br />Environmental Sciences, Policy and <br />Management. Kristin was with the City full- <br />time from September 2015 until August 2016. <br />She worked on various sustainability <br />initiatives and focused on strengthening the <br />City’s existing partnerships. Under the <br />GreenCorps program, her focus was Green <br />Infrastructure and Stormwater. <br />Projects: <br /> Hosted the 2016 Rain Barrel Workshop (MWMO Grant) <br /> Pollinator Pathway Project-34 properties City-wide (Hennepin County Grant) <br /> Environmental Education <br /> Partnering with MWMO and RCWD <br /> Assisting with City projects <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
