Department Divisions <br />The Public Works Department is divided into six (6) divisions: Streets, Parks, Water/Sewer, <br />Vehicle Maintenance, Engineering and City Buildings <br />STREET DIVISION <br /> <br />The Street Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of <br />the City’s street and sidewalk network. They are responsible for <br />snow and ice control in the winter months, as well as road <br />maintenance repairs and street sweeping during the summer months. <br />The Public Works Department also completed an annual Boulevard <br />Tree Trimming Program, as well as a City wide clean-up effort <br />following a thunderstorm on July 5th. A total of eight (8) trees were taken down on City <br />property, in addition to another 12 on private property.
