2016 Annual Report • Public Works Department • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />In addition to the capital equipment that was <br />replaced, a fleet management software program was <br />implemented in 2016. RTA Fle et Management <br />Software enables personnel to directly track <br />preventative maintenance schedules, past repairs <br />(including parts used), mileage and hours, and <br />warranty schedules. The software communicates <br />directly with the on-site fueling station, updating <br />each vehicle or equipment’s information every time it is fueled. The program alerts personnel <br />when preventative maintenance and replacement parts are due based on adjustable parameters. <br />It also indicates the frequency of repairs to any vehicle or piece of equipment. The <br />implementation of the program has contributed to accurate scheduling and budgeting within <br />the division and all city departments. <br />CITY BUILDINGS DIVISION <br />The City Buildings Division provides the necessary maintenance <br />and repair to all the City’s buildings. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />In 2016, projects included: <br /> City-owned building lighting upgrades: Marketplace and Silver Lake Village liquor <br />stores both received LED lighting upgrades. The Marketplace location received both <br />interior and exterior lighting retrofits, while at the Silver Lake Village location interior <br />hallway and restroom lights were completed. <br />Upgrades to the remainder of the interior of the <br />Silver Lake Village location are scheduled for <br />2017. The Police Department’s garage interior <br />lights were retrofitted. <br /> Applied for and received energy rebates for VFD <br />upgrades at all public buildings from Xcel <br />Energy.
