City Council <br />2014 Annual Report · Administration · St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br />Strategic Planning <br />Each January, Mayor, Council, staff, representatives <br />of both the Planning and Parks Commissions and <br />consultants attend a two-day off-site goal setting <br />retreat led by a professional facilitator. On the fi rst day <br />we review the past year’s Strategic Plan and goals, <br />long-term vision/priorities and hear reports from our <br />consultants. Only the Mayor, Council and staff <br />attend the second day and build the “pyramid” <br />that refl ects and guides our mission, vision, <br />strategic initiatives, goals and action <br />steps. Throughout the year at City <br />Council meetings, staff provides <br />quarterly progress updates <br />on the action steps.
