n thbirila <br />Introduction <br />2013 Strategic Plan <br />The City Council and staff of St. Anthony Village conducted a Strategic Planning/Goal Setting <br />Work session on January 10`h and 11"', 2013. Participants included the City Council, City <br />Manager, Department Heads, several members of the consulting team, Brian Heinis, Planning <br />Commissioner and Doug Koehntop, Parks Commissioner. A copy of the Agenda is on page 3. <br />Work Session Goals and Expectations <br />Solidify a strong start for the new year <br />Build the 2013 Pyramid <br />Reflect on the results of the past year <br />update, inform and educate each other <br />Emphasize the long term future <br />Chalienge and stretch your thinking <br />2013 Session Theme <br />The session theme for 2013 is a familiar quote from <br />famous football coach Vince Lombardi. This quote <br />reflects upon the essential importance of each <br />individual toward collective success. <br />Individual commitment to a group effort - that is <br />what makes a team, a company work, a society <br />work, a civilization work. " <br />The City of St. Anthony is widely respected as a cohesive group that works well together as a <br />team, shares mutual respect, and understands roles and responsibilities. The City Council and <br />staff share in a large amount of pride in working together for the best interests of the citizens of <br />the community. The work sessions are recognized for positive, healthy and productive <br />discussions.
