<br />2017 Annual Report • Administration • St. Anthony Village, Minnesota <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />II. 2017 Highlights <br />ADVANCED OXIDATION PROCESS (AOP) PLANT <br />The City secured more than $10.5 million dollars from the Department of the Army in 2016 for <br />the expansion of the City’s water treatment facilities, to remove 1,4 Dioxane from the City’s <br />water supply. The plant opened August 2017 and is fully operational. <br />More information will be presented in the Public Works Department’s Annual Report. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MIRROR LAKE <br />The City of St. Anthony along with The Rice Creek Watershed District are working together to <br />remove nutrient rich sediment, provide additional removed of nutrients to incoming <br />stormwater and to increase the flood storage capacity of Mirror Lake. This project is anticipated <br />to be completed in the summer of 2018. <br />More information will be presented in the Public Works Department’s Annual Report. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
