Technological Advances <br />CUSTOMER PORTAL LAUNCHED USING SENSUS ANALYTICS <br />The Finance and Public Works staff initiated a plan to upgrade the City’s AMR system in place <br />for water meters in 2016. The upgrade involved a hardware component, an existing software <br />upgrade and a purchase of additional software. The hardware component was completed in <br />2016. The software conversion and upgrade was completed in 2017. <br /> <br />Access to the Customer Portal was launched in July of 2017 with the introduction of the City’s <br />new website. The link to the Water customer portal can be found under the “How do I” section <br />on the City’s website. The portal features include: <br />• The Dashboard – a snapshot your current water usage along with status reporting on the <br />self-established usage parameters set for your household. <br />• The Usage Details tab allows you to review usage data, paired with temperature and <br />rainfall information. You can select the time ranges of interest, i.e. hourly, weekly and <br />annually, shown below. <br />• The Settings tab provides you the ability to define quarterly and daily usage goals along <br />with alerting you of potential water leaks while on vacation. <br /> <br />
