ANTHONY AWARD <br />In 2012, the Spirit of St. Anthony Awards was conceived as a way for employees to recognize <br />their fellow employees who go above and beyond in their commitment to the core values of the <br />St. Anthony staff. This peer nominated award goes to the employee who demonstrates the <br />characteristics of S.E.R.V.I.C.E an acronym for the values of: Support, Effective, Responsible, <br />Visionary, Innovative, Courteous, and Exemplary. <br />The first award for a Finance Department staff person was <br />received in 2013 by Phuongmai Dang, the City’s License and <br />Permit clerk. Phuongmai also serves as the primary receptionist <br />and customer service representative when residents or visitors <br />come to City Hall for assistance. Her nomination included <br />phrases like; “…dependable, takes pride in her work, always <br />willing to help others and supportive, courteous to City <br />employees and customers.” <br />In 2016, another Finance Department staff person was <br />recognized; our Utility Billing Clerk, Robin Hartfiel received the <br />award. Aside from her regular duties, she serves as a back-up <br />for Phuongmai when needed. Her nomination said; “…Robin <br />has a very soft, kind heart which spills over into her life on the <br />job. She shows great patience and sensitivity to St. Anthony <br />residents, and as a co-worker, Robin brings dedication, <br />reliability and friendliness for all and a great sense of humor.” <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
