St. Anthony 2040 Comprehensive Plan Chapter 6: Transportation <br /> <br />108 <br /> <br />Multimodal Strategies <br />The multimodal strategies listed in this section are specific, actionable steps that <br />the City can take in support of the goals of this Plan. These strategies are based <br />upon existing and future transportation needs as described in detail in the previous <br />sections of this Plan. <br />The multimodal strategies are broken into several categories: <br />1. Roadway Safety/Operations <br />2. Roadway Functional Classification <br />3. Roadway Reconstruction <br />4. Bicycle/Pedestrian <br />5. Freight <br />6. Transit <br />Each strategy is tied to one or multiple goals; however, not all goals are associated <br />with a specific strategy. In these cases, the City’s goals apply across individual <br />projects, and the City will identify opportunities to achieve them throughout its <br />existing project and policy development processes. FIGURE 6-18 on the following <br />pages describes each strategy, notes which goal(s) is/are related to each strategy, <br />and identifies the lead agency for the strategy. FIGURES 6-19 – 6-22 following the <br />tables illustrate the strategies geographically with reference numbers tied back to <br />the table information.
