701 Xenia Avenue South | Suite 300 | Minneapolis, MN 55416 | (763) 541-4800 <br /> <br />Building a legacy – your legacy. <br />Equal Opportunity Employer | wsbeng.com <br />K:\011648-000\Admin\Resolutions\LTR-hmcc-051118.docx <br /> <br />May 11, 2018 <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor, City Council and Staff <br />c/o Mark Casey, City Manager <br />City of St. Anthony Village <br />3301 Silver Lake Road NE <br />St. Anthony, MN 55418 <br /> <br />Re: Resolution Ordering Preparation of the Feasibility Report <br />2019/2020 Street and Utility Improvement Projects <br />St. Anthony Village, MN <br />WSB Project No. R-011648-000 <br /> <br />Dear Honorable Mayor, City Council, and Staff: <br /> <br />Attached for your consideration is a resolution ordering the preparation of a feasibility report for the <br />2019/2020 Street and Utility Improvement Projects. <br /> <br />This project proposes the following locations for street and utility reconstruction: <br />• Skycroft Drive from 32nd Avenue to 33rd Avenue <br />• Croft Drive from 31st Avenue to 33rd Avenue <br />• 32nd Avenue from Rankin Road to Croft Drive <br /> <br />The feasibility report will also include the review and cost analysis of the following improvements to be <br />constructed in conjunction with Ramsey and Hennepin County Projects: <br />• St. Anthony Industrial Park Flood Improvements <br />• Silver Lake Road Flood Improvements <br />• County Road C Pedestrian Improvements <br />We are recommending that the Industrial Park Flood Improvements and County Road C Pedestrian <br />Improvements be considered with the 2019 improvement project, as Ramsey and Hennepin Counties are <br />proposing to reconstruct County Road C (29th Avenue NE) from Highway 88 to Interstate 35W in <br />2019/2020. <br />It is anticipated the City will be asked to participate in funding for trail/pedestrian improvements as well as <br />drainage/flood relief improvements within St. Anthony’s industrial park and near the intersection of <br />Highway 88 and County Road C. <br />Additionally, we recommend including the Silver Lake Road Storm Improvements with the 2019 <br />improvement project as Ramsey County is planning to resurface Silver Lake Road from 37th Avenue NE <br />to Interstate 694.
