Claims. 8 <br /> 9 <br />Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve the Consent 10 <br />Agenda items. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 13 <br /> 14 <br />IV. PUBLIC HEARINGS – NONE. 15 <br /> 16 <br />V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF – NONE. 17 <br /> 18 <br />VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. 19 <br /> 20 <br />A. Resolution 18-057; a Resolution approving a five-year Joint Powers Agreement with 21 <br />Ramsey County for the use of Yard Waste Sites and an Organics Drop off site. 22 <br /> 23 <br />City Manager Casey reviewed the Council is requested to consider a resolution to approve a five-24 <br />year Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) with Ramsey County for the use of yard waste management 25 <br />sites for all St. Anthony residents. In addition, as listed in the JPA, Ramsey County will construct 26 <br />an organics drop off site located at the City Hall parking lot near the Police Department for all 27 <br />St. Anthony residents. 28 <br /> 29 <br />The City will continue to forego the SCORE funding from Ramsey County in exchange for the 30 <br />use of yard waste sites and organics drop off site. This agreement supports both the City of St. 31 <br />Anthony’s and Ramsey County’s goal of providing yard waste and organics recycling to all St. 32 <br />Anthony residents. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Upon approval from the City Council, the JPA will then go to the Ramsey County Board for 35 <br />approval on August 21, 2018. Mayor Faust noted there has been a JPA since 2005. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve Resolution 18-38 <br />057; a Resolution Approving the Five-Year Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County for 39 <br />the Use of Yard Waste Management Organic Waste Recycling Sites for All St. Anthony 40 <br />Residents. 41 <br /> 42 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 43 <br /> 44 <br />VII.
