City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />August 28, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br />I Councilmember Stille thanked Sheriff Stanek for coming and noted the partnership has always <br />2 been great with Hennepin County since he has been on Council. He asked how the Opioid bags <br />3 worked. Sheriff Stanek stated the bags are used for disposal of prescription drugs by putting pills <br />4 in the biodegradable bag and adding water. <br />6 Mayor Faust noted there was a hiccup with 911 service but it was all worked out. He stated the <br />7 Council is onboard with the Hennepin County Sheriffs Department and thanked Sheriff Stanek <br />8 for coming to the meeting. <br />10 <br />B. Introduction of Community Service Officer Michael Milbrandt <br />11 <br />12 <br />Police Chief Jon Mangseth introduced Community Service Officer Michael Milbrandt to the City <br />13 <br />Council and residents. The job responsibilities of the Community Service Officer were reviewed. <br />14 <br />Chief Mangseth reviewed Community Service Officer Milbrandt's background. CSO Milbrandt <br />15 <br />stated he is honored to be part of the St. Anthony Police Department. <br />16 <br />17 <br />Mayor Faust welcomed CSO Milbrandt and his family to St. Anthony. <br />18 <br />19 <br />C. Introduction of Full -time Firefighter Alex Van Galder <br />20 <br />21 <br />Fire Chief Mark Sitarz introduced full -time Firefighter Alex Van Galder to the City Council and <br />22 <br />residents. Firefighter Van Galder is also a resident of St. Anthony. Chief Sitarz reviewed the Fire <br />23 <br />Department and Firefighter Van Galder's background. Firefighter Van Galder stated he is <br />24 <br />thankful to be part of the St. Anthony Fire Department. <br />25 <br />26 <br />Mayor Faust welcomed Firefighter Van Galder to the City. <br />27 <br />28 <br />III. <br />CONSENT AGENDA. <br />29 <br />30 <br />A. Approval of August 14, 2018, City Council Meeting Minutes. <br />31 <br />B. Licenses and Permits. <br />32 <br />C.
