<br /> <br />3301 Silver Lake Road, St. Anthony, Minnesota 55418‐1699 www.savmn.com (612) 782‐3301 Fax (612) 782‐3302 <br />Our mission is to be a progressive and welcoming Village that is walkable, sustainable, safe. <br /> <br />Based on the data collected for streets with a posted speed limit of 30 mph the following criteria will be <br />used to determine if a DFB sign or other mitigations should be considered: <br /> <br />1. 85% Speed less than 30 mph with less than 15% over the Pace: <br /> No further action required <br /> <br />2. 85% Speed between 30 mph and 33 mph with less than 15% over the Pace: <br /> Continue to monitor location <br /> Additional enforcement <br /> <br />3. 85% Speed between 33 mph and 35 mph with more than 15% over the Pace: <br /> Installation of Driver Feedback Signs <br /> <br />4. 85% Speed is greater than 35 mph with more than 15% over the Pace: <br /> Installation of Driver Feedback Signs <br /> Consider evaluation for potential engineering solutions. <br /> <br />Step 4 – Implementation/Funding: <br /> <br />Upon the recommendation of City staff and approval by the City Council, the appropriate measures will <br />be implemented by the City once funding is secured. Possible funding sources include: <br /> <br /> Inclusion in the City’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) <br /> Special request from the City Council <br /> Assessment process <br /> <br />Figure 1 represents the decision diagram used in the speed concern evaluation process. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
