City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 13, 2018 <br />Page 6 <br />1 representing the St. Anthony Fire Department Employees and the City of St. Anthony Village. <br />2 This is a two -year contract with the St. Anthony Fire Department's employees. There will be a <br />3 3.25% increase for both 2019 and 2020. Health insurance premium increases will be split equally <br />4 between City and employees. <br />6 Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution <br />7 18 -075; a Resolution Ratifying the 2019 — 2020 Agreement Between the International <br />8 Association of Fire Fighters, Local 3486 Representing the St. Anthony Fire Department <br />9 Employees and the City of St. Anthony Village. <br />10 <br />11 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />12 <br />13 D. Resolution 18 -076; a Resolution Approving Ratifying the 2019 — 2020 Agreement <br />14 between the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 49 AFL -CIO <br />15 Representing the St. Anthony Public Works Department Employees and the City of St. <br />16 Anthony Village. <br />17 <br />18 City Manager Casey reviewed before the Council is a request to approve a resolution ratifying <br />19 the contract agreement with the public works union. This is a two -year contract with the St. <br />20 Anthony Public Works Department employees. There will be a 3.25% increase for both 2019 and <br />21 2020. Health insurance premium increases will be split equally between City and employees. <br />22 <br />23 Councilmember Stille thanked Mr. Casey for his negotiation of these three contracts. Mr. Casey <br />24 stated the City has outstanding staff and they feel well supported by the Council and the <br />25 community. <br />26 <br />27 Councilmember Gray stated this is the highest increase for all three contracts compared to the <br />28 past few years. The unemployment rate is very low. There is a lot of competition in finding and <br />29 retaining good employees. <br />30 <br />31 Motion by Councilmember Stille, seconded by Councilmember Jenson, to approve Resolution <br />32 18 -076; a Resolution Ratifying the 2019 — 2020 Agreement Between the International Union of <br />33 Operating Engineers Local No. 49 AFL -CIO Representing the St. Anthony Public Works <br />34 Department Employees and the City of St. Anthony Village. <br />35 <br />36 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />37 <br />38 Mayor Faust thanked the employees that serve the City every day. Their dedication is great and <br />39 the Council appreciates their loyalty. <br />40 <br />41 E. Liquor Operations Update. <br />42 <br />43 Liquor Operations Manager Mike Larson presented an Operations Update on St. Anthony <br />44 Village Liquor Operations. The presentation included Locations, Mission Statement, Vision <br />45 Statement, Liquor Operations Update, Sales and Profit Update, New Point of Sale System, LED <br />
