City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />November 27, 2018 <br />Page 6 <br />City Manager Casey reviewed Council is requested to consider a resolution designating the <br />following polling places for the 2019 election year: <br />Hennepin Precinct 1 — Autumn Woods 2600 Kenzie Terrace <br />Hennepin Precinct 2 — St. Anthony Community Center 3301 Silver Lake Road <br />Ramsey Precinct 1 — Legends at Silver Lake Village 2500 38th Avenue NE <br />8 Mayor Faust thanked Chandler Place for their support in being a polling place for Ramsey <br />9 County. <br />10 <br />11 Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve Resolution <br />12 18 -079; a Resolution Designating Polling Places for the 2019 Election Year. <br />13 <br />14 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />15 <br />16 VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />17 <br />18 City Manager Casey reported he attended the Dare to Be Real Courageous Conversation Meeting <br />19 along with the Mayor and some Councilmembers. He thanked the Police and Fire Department <br />20 personnel that attended. At the last Council Meeting, Liquor Manager Larson announced the new <br />21 loyalty program and to date 1700 people have signed up. <br />22 <br />23 Councilmember Randle reported he attended the Courageous Conversation on November 14, <br />24 2018. On Thursday, November 15, 2018 he attended the Students in Government event. On <br />25 Tuesday, November 19, 2018 he attended the Council Work Session. Councilmember Randle <br />26 noted at the November 14, 2018 meeting, there was a statement made by SAVEC a few meetings <br />27 ago. He was part of SAVEC in the past and now he is the Council liaison to SAVEC. He stated <br />28 the statement did not reflect SAVEC as a whole. It was discouraging. He was not aware the <br />29 statement was being made and he does not agree with the statement. <br />30 <br />31 Councilmember Jenson stated on November 14, he attended the Comprehensive Plan review and <br />32 on November 15 he attended the Students in Government meeting. He attended the Sustainability <br />33 Fair on November 18 and on November 19, he attended the Council Work Session. On <br />34 November 26, he attended the St. Anthony Fire Department Relief Association Meeting. <br />35 <br />36 Councilmember Stille also attended the last Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee Meeting <br />37 on November 14, the Student in Government meeting on November 15, and the Emergency <br />38 Management Work Session on November 19. There were 35 people in attendance. <br />39 <br />40 Councilmember Gray attended the Dare to be Real event. He participated in the Students in <br />41 Government and the Sustainability Fair. He also attended the Emergency Management exercise. <br />42 <br />43 Mayor Faust stated he attended all of those events/meetings also. He stated the Sustainability <br />44 Fair was a great effort with many attendees and participating groups. Mayor Faust stated the <br />45 Emergency Management exercise was informative and he noted that it is manned 24 hours a <br />46 day /365 days a year. He commended the Staff and the Council on all the events held recently. <br />
