City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />December 11, 2018 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Jenson stated there were a couple of interesting exercises conducted during the 1 <br />training. 2 <br /> 3 <br />VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Mr. Casey had no report. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Councilmember Jenson stated last week he attended the interviews for the Planning Commission 8 <br />and Parks Commission applicants. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Councilmember Stille had nothing to add. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Councilmember Gray had no report. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Councilmember Randle had no report. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Mayor Faust stated on November 29, he attended the regional LMC and Metro Cities meetings 17 <br />along with Councilmember Jenson. On December 10, he attended the Regional Council of 18 <br />Mayors. 19 <br /> 20 <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM 21 <br /> 22 <br />Ms. Nancy Robinett, 3408 31st Avenue NE, stated the annual Planning and Goal-Setting Meeting 23 <br />is coming up on January 10-11, 2019 and it will be held at the Operating Engineers Union Local 24 <br />49 on County Road C in St. Anthony. She encouraged the Council to publicize the meeting as a 25 <br />community-friendly event and to also publicize the agenda for the two days. She stated she is 26 <br />happy the meeting is on the calendar, noting that historically not many community members 27 <br />attend. She would like to encourage more community attendance and asked Council to make at 28 <br />least part of meeting, an opportunity for residents in attendance to speak. Last year this did not 29 <br />occur; however, other invited guests were able to speak. 30 <br /> 31 <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 32 <br /> 33 <br />It was noted that the last meeting of month was December 25, 2018 so it would not be held. 34 <br /> 35 <br />X.
