CONSENT AGENDA. 23 <br /> 24 <br />A. H.R.A. Meeting Minutes of November 13, 2018. 25 <br />B. Claims. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Motion by Commissioner Stille, seconded by Commissioner Jenson, to approve the Consent 28 <br />Agenda items as presented. 29 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 30 <br /> 31 <br />III. PUBLIC HEARINGS – NONE. 32 <br /> 33 <br />IV. GENERAL POLICY BUSINESS OF THE H.R.A. 34 <br /> 35 <br />A. Resolution 2018-05; a Resolution Authorizing the Purchase of Property Located at 3803 36 <br /> Stinson. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Executive Director Casey reviewed the HRA is requested to consider a resolution authorizing the 39 <br />purchase of property located at 3803 Stinson Blvd. Staff was approached by the Department of 40 <br />Justice’s realtor who is representing the US Marshal’s seized property at 3803 Stinson Blvd. The 41 <br />United States government has offered to sell the property for a purchase price of $250,000. The 42 <br />property is located within the previously approved Silver Lake Village redevelopment plan, 43 <br />which allows Tax Increment Financing (TIF) funds to be expended to purchase property covered 44 <br />by the approved plan. The TIF would come from the TIF 3-5 Silver Lake Village district. This 45 <br />property is guided as multi-family residential in the 2008 and proposed 2018 Comprehensive 46 <br />Plan. Staff recommends the HRA Board authorize the Chair (Mayor) and HRA Executive 47 <br />Director (City Manager) to negotiate and finalize the purchase of the property to not exceed 48
