City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />December 11, 2018 <br />Page 3 <br />1 Councilmember Stille stated every year the City goes through this budget process. The premise <br />2 behind the budget is to keep services the same. The revenues are unknown and the funding <br />3 source of the Capital Improvement Plan is done through levies. <br />4 <br />5 Mayor Faust noted this is the fourth public meeting regarding the budget process. He <br />6 commended Ms. Rueckert on her ability to refine the budget into an open and accountable <br />7 process. <br />9 Mayor Faust closed the public hearing at 7:22 p.m. <br />10 <br />11 Motion by Councilmember Randle, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve Resolution <br />12 18 -082; a Resolution Setting the Final 2019 Tax Levy and Adopting the 2019 Budget Document <br />13 for the City of St. Anthony Village. <br />14 <br />15 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />16 <br />17 V. REPORTS FROM COMMISSION AND STAFF - NONE. <br />18 <br />19 VI. GENERAL BUSINESS OF COUNCIL. <br />20 <br />21 A. Resolution 18 -083; a Resolution Approving the Combination Wine /Strong, Beer License <br />22 for Cheers Pablo located at 2900 Pentagon Drive. <br />23 <br />24 City Manager Casey introduced the request of the Council to consider a combination <br />25 Wine /Strong Beer License for Cheers Pablo located at 2900 Pentagon Drive. This is for a new <br />26 business within the City. Background checks have been completed on the new business owner <br />27 and staff is recommending approval of the Wine /Strong Beer License. This is the same type of <br />28 business as Wine and Canvas was with new owners. <br />29 <br />30 Motion by Councilmember Jenson, seconded by Councilmember Gray, to approve Resolution <br />31 18 -083; a Resolution Approving Combination Wine /Strong Beer License for Cheers Pablo <br />32 Located at 2900 Pentagon Drive. <br />33 <br />34 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />35 <br />36 B. Resolution 18 -084, a Resolution Accepting Plans and Specifications and Ordering <br />37 Advertisement for Bids for the Silver Lake Road Flood Reduction Project. <br />38 <br />39 City Engineer Hubmer reviewed the request of the Council to consider a resolution accepting <br />40 plans and specifications and ordering advertisement for bids for the Silver Lake Road Flood <br />41 Reduction Project. This resolution accepts the plans and specifications, as prepared by WSB, and <br />42 authorizes the advertisement for bids for the Silver Lake Road Flood Reduction Project. The <br />43 project anticipates opening bids on or near January 16, 2019 and bringing the bid results to <br />44 Council in February. <br />45 <br />
