ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />JANUARY 22, 2019 3 <br />4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br />6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br />8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br />10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br />12 <br />ROLL CALL. 13 <br />14 <br />Present: Mayor Faust, Councilmembers Gray, Jenson, Randle and Stille. 15 <br />Absent: None 16 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey, President & CEO Northeast Youth and Family Services 17 <br />Jerry Hromatka, Co-Navigator Village WinterFest Chad Gillard, Parks Commission 18 <br />Chair Erin Jordahl-Redlin, and GreenCorp Member Minette Saulog. 19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 22 <br />ITEMS. 23 <br />24 <br />I. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 22, 2019 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 25 <br />26 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Randle, to approve the City 27 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of January 22, 2019 as presented. 28 <br />29 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 30 <br />31 <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 32 <br />33 <br />A.Presentation of Northeast Youth and Family Services34 <br />35 <br />President and CEO Jerry Hromatka reviewed a PowerPoint presentation on the Northeast Youth 36 <br />& Family Services (NYFS) including general information, programs, budget, revenue sources, 37 <br />services, community trends, fifteen partnerships, and future events including a May 1, 2019 38 <br />Leadership Lunch and June 10, 2019 Mayor’s Challenge Golf Tournament. 39 <br />40 <br />Councilmember Randle asked how NYFS’s message is communicated. Mr. Hromatka stated that 41 <br />depends on which message they are trying to communicate. They work closely with the schools, 42 <br />physicians, police departments, twitter, Facebook, CTV, etc. 43 <br />44 <br />Councilmember Stille thanked Mr. Hromatka for coming to the meeting. He asked about the next 45 <br />level of services and whether there has been a shortage for outplacement services. Mr. Hromatka 46 <br />stated mental health services are more accepted. 47 <br />48 <br />1
