City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />January 22, 2019 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br /> <br />Councilmember Gray stated on January 10-11, 2019, he attended the Strategic Planning Meeting 1 <br />for the Council. He stated there were three community members that attended and the person that 2 <br />filed the complaint with the State of Minnesota was not present. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Councilmember Randle stated on January 19, 2019, he attended Coffee with the Council and also 5 <br />attended the Strategic Planning Meeting. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Councilmember Jenson stated he attended the Strategic Planning Meeting and there were 35 8 <br />people that participated in the roundtable. He reviewed the attendees. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Councilmember Stille stated he attended the Strategic Planning Meeting also and found it was 11 <br />key to be able to talk to Staff in that forum. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Mayor Faust stated he also attended the Strategic Planning Meeting in January and Coffee with 14 <br />the Council with Councilmember Randle on January 19, 2019. The new Hennepin County 15 <br />Commissioner, Irene Fernando was present. 16 <br /> 17 <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM 18 <br /> 19 <br />Ms. Lona Doolan stated she appreciates the discussion on the Parks Commission and would 20 <br />support the word Environmental. She would also support a separate Sustainability Commission. 21 <br />The message Citizens for Sustainability has received from the Council was to bring things to the 22 <br />Parks Commission prior to bringing ideas to the Council. She asked what the process should be 23 <br />going forward. 24 <br /> 25 <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS - NONE. 26 <br /> 27 <br />X.
