City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />February 26, 2019 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> 1 <br />City Manager Casey announced this Saturday is WinterFest from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in 2 <br />Central Park. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Councilmember Gray had no report. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Councilmember Randle had no report. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Councilmember Jenson stated on February 25, he attended the St. Anthony Fire Department 9 <br />Relief Association Meeting. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Councilmember Stille reviewed on February 21, he attended the Community Advisory Board 12 <br />Meeting which is held quarterly. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mayor Faust stated on February 21, he attended the Legislative Conference for Cities where 15 <br />Governor Walz provided the opening remarks. He briefly reviewed the agenda with other 16 <br />speakers present. 17 <br /> 18 <br />VIII. COMMUNITY FORUM. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Ms. Lona Doolan, 3511 Harding Street, stated she is in support of the change in the Park 21 <br />Commission function which is currently being reviewed. An example of the good work of the 22 <br />Parks Commission is the organics recycling. 23 <br /> 24 <br />IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Councilmember Stille stated it snowed today and he has received many compliments for Public 27 <br />Works on the job they do plowing within the City. The Fire Department has also done an 28 <br />outstanding job working under very cold conditions. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Mayor Faust announced a St. Anthony resident and Past Mayor Sally Ann Haik passed away. 31 <br /> 32 <br />Councilmember Stille stated Dorothy Fleming also passed away and she was a former 33 <br />Councilmember. 34 <br /> 35 <br />X.
