City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br />March 26, 2019 <br />Page 7 <br />1 Mayor Faust stated that this challenge is a classic example of how everyone can pitch in. He <br />2 stated that the website even shows you how to properly load the dishwasher. He explained that <br />3 people can monitor their own water usage by going to the City website and signing up for "My <br />4 Water Usage." <br />5 <br />6 Motion by Mayor Faust, seconded by Councilmember Stille, to approve Resolution 19 -027; a <br />7 Resolution of the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, State of Minnesota, in Support of the <br />8 "Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation." <br />9 <br />10 Motion carried 5 -0. <br />11 <br />12 D. GreenCorp Update. <br />13 <br />14 GreenCorp Member Minette Saulog provided an update of the January — March 2019 GreenCorp <br />15 activities. Her presentation included CTV Quarterly Update Video, February Bill Clinics, <br />16 Quarter 2 MN GreenCorps Training, SolSmart Update, Community Solar Garden Update, Data <br />17 for US Solar's Big Lake 1 Community Solar Garden, and Upcoming Events. She noted that <br />18 there are two upcoming workshops on April 25, 2019 on rain barrels and a presentation on home <br />19 energy that people can register for on -line. She stated that the Spring Clean Up Day is May 4, <br />20 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. She stated that there will be an organics recycling <br />21 presentation on May 8, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. <br />22 <br />23 Councilmember Stille commended GreenCorp Member Saulog on her solar update and noted the <br />24 City approved it in 2016 and it has taken longer than expected to get it up and running. He stated <br />25 that it is a great program. <br />26 <br />27 VII. REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCIL MEMBERS. <br />28 <br />29 City Manager Casey reported that the organics recycling is collected weekly by Waste <br />30 Management at no charge to the City. He noted they had conducted an audit and found there <br />31 were 2,002 pounds of organics collected so it has been highly used and a highly successful <br />32 program. He noted road construction season is coming up soon and there will be a link to <br />33 MNDot's page for specific information on the City website. He stated the owners of Lowry <br />34 Grove have submitted a permit for new water service to connect 42 mobile home units to City <br />35 service. <br />36 <br />37 Councilmember Jenson reported that on March 14, 2019, he attended the Ramsey County Local <br />38 League of Government meeting and a legislative priority discussion. <br />39 <br />40 Councilmember Stille reported he attended the Parks and Planning Commission presentation on <br />41 March 19, 2019 on the 2019 goals. <br />42 <br />43 Councilmember Gray stated that he had no report. <br />44 <br />45 Councilmember Randle reported on March 19, 2019, he attended the joint Parks and Planning <br />46 Commission and a work session meeting with CTV.
