Finance Activity Unique to 2018 <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL REVENUE AND BODY CAMERA GRANT REPORTING <br />Intergovernmental revenue is separately stated in the City’s audited financial <br />statements each year in compliance with Government Accounting Standards <br />Board’s requirements. As part of audit procedures grant expenditures are <br />tested to be conforming to the grant requirements. This particular part Audit <br />has its own unique challenges each year. For 2018 it was the collaboration with <br />the City of Roseville on the purchase of Body Cameras. Together the two cities <br />came up with a plan that balanced the matching funds required by the <br />Department of Justice - Body Camera grant while acquiring the equipment <br />specifically needed for each Department. This Grant is expected to be closed <br />out in 2019. The work paper below is provided to auditors and tracks all grant <br />activity occurring during the year. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SUPER BOWL PAYOFF <br />The 2018 Super Bowl held in Minneapolis required the assistance from <br />several other Cities in providing public safety during the week worth of <br />events. Saint Anthony police participated in this effort and were <br />reimbursed over $15,000 for their time. Moreover the police gained <br />valuable experience by participating in this national scale event. <br />
