Based on our review of the projects, there are a number which have been completed on or <br />under budget, and one project which is anticipated to exceed its budget in 2008. Below please find <br />a list of projects, along with the budgeted amount for the project and the actual expenditures <br />anticipated at completion. <br />1. Automated Water Meter Replacement Project / I &I Inspections <br />This project replaced the existing manual read water meters within the City with an <br />automated system, and inspected homes for non - compliant foundation drains and sump <br />pumps. This project began in 2006 and is anticipated to be completed within the next three <br />months. We are currently reading over 2,200 meters within the City and anticipate the <br />remaining issues will be resolved. Project management will continue through the leaf on <br />condition of trees this spring. <br />Budgeted Project Amount: $700,000 <br />Anticipated Cost to Completion: $680,000 4690,000 <br />Completed Under Budget by: $10,000 420,000 <br />2. Water Treatment Plant Filter Improvements <br />The purpose of this project was to improve the ability of the City's water treatment plant <br />filters to remove iron and manganese from the water supply.
