CALL TO ORDER. <br />11 Chair Jindra called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance. <br />12 <br />13 II. ROLL CALL. <br />14 Present: Chair Carol Jindra, Vice Chair Doug Koehntop, Commissioners <br />15 Daniel Ganley, Julie Gebhardt, Colleen Hallada, and Eva <br />16 Knudson, Erich Young. <br />17 <br />18 Absent: Representative from Sports Boosters George Zurbey; City Council <br />19 Member Randy Stille. <br />20 <br />21 Also Present: Public Works Director Jay Hartman; Representative from the <br />22 School Board Rick Dunn; and URS Representative, Rich <br />23 Koechlien. <br />"4 <br />Chair Jindra stated that the Parks Commission took tour of Central Park prior to the meeting to review <br />26 punch list items. She stated that the tour would be discussed later in the agenda. <br />27 <br />28 III. APPROVAL APRIL 12, 2004 PARKS COMMISSION MINUTES. <br />29 <br />30 Chair Jindra stated that she had corrections. She referenced page 1, line 40 stating that the grand <br />31 opening of Central Park is 'June 29, 2004' not 'June 9, 2004'. <br />32 <br />33 Chair Jindra reference page 2, line 8 stating that it should read 'John Hopko', not 'John Hook' and also <br />34 on page 2, line 33 should read `Chair Jindra asked if the practice field had been seeded, not sealed.' <br />35 <br />36 Motion by Vice Chair Koehntop, second by Commissioner Ganley, to approve the April 12, 2004 Parks <br />37 Commission Meeting Minutes as amended. <br />38 <br />39 Motion carried unanimously <br />40 <br />41 IV. PARKS UPDATE <br />42 <br />43 A. URS Representative Update <br />44 <br />45 Rich Koechlien, URS Representative, provided the Commission with an update of the punch list items <br />for Central Park. He stated that the seeding is presently being taken care of noting that there had been <br />quite a bit of bad seeding along the paths and around the Pavilion. He stated that he had a met with the <br />48 seeding consultant on Friday adding that it should be completed by the end of this week. He referenced <br />
