CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />3 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br />4 <br />5 September 13, 2004 <br />6 7:00 p.m. <br />7 Conference Room <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />11 Chair Jindra called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance. <br />12 <br />13 H. ROLL CALL. <br />14 Present: Chair Carol Jindra, Vice Chair Doug Koehntop, Commissioners <br />15 Colleen Hallada, and Daniel Ganley. <br />16 <br />17 Absent: Commissioners Julie Gebhardt, Eva Knudson and Erich Young. <br />18 <br />19 Also Present: Public Works Director Jay Hartman; Representative from the <br />20 School Board Denise Dunn. <br />21 <br />22 M. APPROVAL DUNE 14, 2004 PARKS COMMISSION MINUTES. <br />2' <br />Motion by Vice Chair Koehntop, second by Commissioner Ganley, to approve the June 14, 2004 Parks <br />25 Commission Meeting Minutes as presented. <br />26 <br />27 Motion carried unanimously <br />28 <br />29 TV. PARKS UPDATE <br />30 <br />31 A. Park Update <br />32 <br />33 Chair Jindra stated that she would like to be sure that all of the punch list items have been taken care <br />34 before final payment is made. She stated that water is still collecting and pooling at the bottom of stairs <br />35 into the park adding that this has to be repaired. <br />36 <br />37 Public Works Director Hartman assured the Commission that he would review the punch list items with <br />38 Mr. Koechlien. He explained that they could not withhold full payment. He further explained that they <br />39 would be able to determine the dollar amount to withhold once they have reviewed the punch list. He <br />40 stated that he plans to walk through the park with Mr. Koechlien to review the punch list adding that he <br />41 would provide the Commission with an update after the walkthrough. Commissioner Ganley stated that <br />42 he would also participate in the walkthrough. <br />43 <br />44 Chair Jindra asked if anyone had any other items of concern that would be outside of the punch list. <br />4' <br />4. Commissioner Hallada referenced the water tower area stating that there are two trees in the circular <br />47 island area that appear to be extremely stressed. She expressed concerns stating that this has been an <br />48 issue since they cut the roots of the tree and poured the concrete. She asked if someone could check the <br />
