1 CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 2 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES 5 March 10, 2003 6 7:00 p.m. 7 Conference Room 8 9 10 I. CALL TO ORDER. 11 12 Chair Jindra called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance. 13 14 II. ROLL CALL. 15 16 Present: Chair Carol Jindra, Commissioners Daniel Ganley, Julie Gebhardt, 17 Colleen Hallada, Jan Jenson, and George Wagner. 18 19 Absent: Vice Chair Doug Koehntop and School Board Representative 20 Denise Dunn. 21 22 Also Present: Public Works Director Jay Hartman; City Staff Maurice Anderson; 23 City Council Liaison Amy Sparks; Representative from 24 Community Services, Diane Skrivseth; Representative from Sports Boosters George Zurbey; Independent Contractor Rich Koechlein 26 (URS); Brad Forbrook, (SEH); and Todd Hubmer, (WSB). 27 28 III. APPROVAL FEBRUARY 10, 2003 PARKS COMMISSION MINUTES. 29 30 Chair Jindra stated she had two corrections to the minutes. She noted the first page, line 42, she 31 wanted it noted for the record that the meeting also included Jay Hartman and City Staff Maurice 32 Anderson. She noted page four, line 6, beginning 'Commissioner Jensen clarified' is shows the 33 statement that Bob Kost indicated the project would be completed towards the end of August. 34 She stated that she wanted it changed to reflect a completion date of August 1, 2003. 35 36 Mr. Zurbey clarified that the grass cutting would be ready to handoff by July 1, 2003. He further 37 clarified that a punch list would be created at that time with a projected handoff of August 1, 38 2003. He stated that at that point in time the City would be fully responsible for the ongoing 39 maintenance of the park. 40 41 Motion by Commissioner Ganley, second by Commissioner Wagner, to approve the February 42 10, 2003 Parks Commission Meeting Minutes as amended. 43 44 Motion carried unanimously. 45
