1 CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 <br />PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br />5 April 14, 2003 <br />6 7:00 p.m. <br />7 Conference Room <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 I. CALL TO ORDER. <br />11 <br />12 Chair Jindra called the meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance. <br />13 <br />14 II. ROLL CALL. <br />15 <br />16 Present: Chair Carol Jindra, Commissioners Daniel Ganley, Colleen <br />17 Hallada, Jan Jenson, and George Wagner. <br />18 <br />19 Absent: Vice Chair Doug Koehntop, Commissioner Julie Gebhardt, and <br />20 City Staff Maurice Anderson. <br />21 <br />22 Also Present: Public Works Director Jay Hai man; City Council Liaison Amy <br />23 Sparks; Representative from Community Services; Diane <br />24 Skrivseth; Representative from Sports Boosters George Zurbey; <br />Representative from School Board Denise Dunn; and Brad <br />20 Forbrook, (SEH). <br />27 <br />28 III. APPROVAL March 10, 2003 PARKS COMMISSION MINUTES. <br />29 <br />30 Motion by Commissioner Ganley, second by Commissioner Hallada, to approve the March 10, 2003 <br />31 Parks Commission Meeting Minutes as presented. <br />32 <br />33 Motion carried unanimously. <br />34 <br />35 Chair Jindra stated that the Commission took a tour of Central Park and Silver Point Park to review the <br />36 locations for the new shelters. <br />37 <br />38 Commissioner Jensen requested an addition to the agenda. He stated that he would like to request a <br />39 discussion regarding the location of the fire station. <br />40 <br />41 IV. REPORT BY BRAD FORBROOK, SEH. <br />42 <br />43 A. SILVER POINT/CENTRAL PARK UPDATE <br />44 <br />45 Brad Forbrook, SEH Representative, provided the Commission with a status report and review of the <br />46 project schedule for the Silver Point Park shelter. He also reviewed the color scheme and the color of <br />the blocks that would be used for the shelter with the Commission. <br />48 <br />
