Parks Commission Meeting Minutes <br />April 14, 2003 <br />Page 8 <br />1 <br />2 Mr. Zurbey stated that there were no updates for the Sports Boosters. <br />3 <br />4 VI. OTHER BUSINESS. <br />5 <br />6 Council Liaison Sparks suggested that the Commission designate a representative for each month to <br />7 provide the monthly City Council updates. <br />8 <br />9 Public Works Director Hartman asked when the Park Commission would be ready to go live on <br />10 television. Council Liaison Sparks asked if the Commission has done any planning.. Chair Jindra stated <br />11 that they have had some discussion noting that there are logistical issues that should be addressed. <br />12 <br />13 Public Works Director Hartman suggested using the bench and not changing anything with the layout. <br />14 Chair Jindra expressed concerns stating that there was an issue of space. She stated that she does not <br />15 want anyone from the Commission out in the audience area. She suggested discussing this issue at the <br />16 joint Council meeting and asked that the schedule be coordinated to discuss the issues. Public Works <br />17 Director Hartman stated that they could meet in June or July. He noted that the City Council goal <br />18 setting process had determined the Commission would go live in April 2003. <br />19 <br />20 Public Works Director Hartman reminded the Commission that the Open House to discuss the location <br />of the fire station is scheduled for next Tuesday, April 22, 2003 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. <br />Gt, <br />23 Chair Jindra stated that the next Commission meeting would be held on Monday, May 12, 2003. She <br />24 stated that the Commission would meet at the Central Park site at 6:30 p.m. for tours of the park shelters <br />25 and resume a general meeting at City Hall at 7:30 p.m. <br />26 <br />27 VII.
