REPRESENTATIVES FROM URS.
A. Central Park Tour Discussion
Chair Jindra noted the attendance of Rick Koechlien, URS, and advised he is in attendance to
provide an update on the Central Park project.
Mr. Koechlien explained the upper parking lot was not able to be milled and overlayed as
planned this week. They had to make changes and get new estimates, revise their plans and
evaluate which plan to go with and therefore have been delayed. Once completed, the final
landscaping will follow.
Chair Jindra inquired why the parking lot was in the park budget when it has been in bad shape
for 15 years. She stated this was disconcerting because they were spending park funds on the
parking lot.
