I CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br />3 DECEMBER 14, 1998 <br />4 I. CALL TO ORDER <br />5 The meeting was called to order by Chair Jindra at 7:05 P.M. Jindra stressed the importance of a <br />6 discussion with regard to attendance and promptness. <br />7 H. ROLL CALL. <br />8 Present: Chair Carol Jindra, Vice Chair Doug Koehntop, Commissioners <br />9 Joanne Kosciolek, Paul Louiselle, Tim Moms, Don Siggelkow, <br />10 and George Wagner. <br />11 Also Present: Public Works Director Jay Hartman; Representative from <br />12 Community Services (Diana Roadfeldt); Representative from <br />13 School Board (Kathie Wolff); and Todd Hubmer, WSB & <br />14 Associates, Inc. <br />15 Absent: Representative from Sports Boosters (Jan Jensen). <br />16 III. APPROVAL OF NOVEMBER 9,1998 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES. <br />17 Motion by Louiselle, second by Kosciolek to approve the minutes of the November 9, 1998 <br />S Parks Commission meeting with the following changes: <br />20 Page 1, under Roll Call, note Diana Roadfeldt is a Representative from Community Services and <br />21 as such is not a voting member. <br />22 Page 4, line 14, change "Ramsey" to "Hennepin" <br />23 Page 4, line 25, change date of public hearing from October 13 to June 5. <br />24 Motion carried unanimously. <br />25 IV. DESIGNATE PARKS COMMISSIONER TO DECEMBER 15,1998 PLANNING <br />26 COMMISSION AND DECEMBER 16,1998 CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS. <br />27 Wagner agreed to report at the December 15, 1998 Planning Commission meeting, and <br />28 Kosciolek agreed to attend the December 16, 1998 City Council meeting. <br />29 V. SILVER POINT PARK UPDATE - TODD HUBMER, WSB. <br />30 Jindra welcomed Todd Hubmer, WSB, and invited him to address the Commission. She added a <br />31 bi-weekly "Construction Review" has been made available by the City which gives the <br />32 excavator's contact phone numbers, and encouraged the Commission to use the sheet as a <br />33 reference. Kosciolek requested a copy of this review be mailed to the Commission as the <br />34 Commissioners receive many questions from residents. Hubmer agreed to mail the review to the <br />35 Commissioners. <br />16 <br />I Hubmer stated the $40,000 figure allotted for playground equipment was based on a performance <br />A specification drawn up by Bob Kost, BRW after the September Parks Commission meeting at <br />
