He added the work would take 2 weeks to complete.

Hubmer stated the excavation is progressing well, and an issue with regard to construction debris
found in the park has been resolved. Louiselle asked whether any complaints had been received
from neighbors. Hubmer stated 1 complaint had been received with regard to an exit from the
park to accommodate northbound access to Highway 88 which might cause dirt accumulation.
He added the contractor has done a good job of keeping the area clean.
T
Jindra asked whether the trees removed from the park will be replaced. Hubmer stated they will
be replaced, and some trees have been transplanted to the east side of the park. Kosciolek asked
whether the trees will be comparable to the ones removed. Hubmer stated they will probably be
4-6 inches.

Wolff asked whether an issue involving residents on Roselle Drive had been resolved. Hubmer
confirmed the issue had been resolved.

Jindra asked whether the contractor had a permit to work late hours. Hubmer stated a permit was
obtained to work until 8:00 P.M. on weekdays and begin work at 7:00 A.M. on Saturdays. He
added so far it has not been necessary to work late on weekdays due to the mild weather.

Hubmer stated, with regard to the 1999 street reconstruction program, bids have been received
and the home buyout proposals will be submitted to the Commission for comments. He added 3
homes are yet to be acquired. Wolff asked whether the possibility of small parks had been
discussed.
