Parks Commission Minutes <br />October 8, 1998 <br />Page 3 <br />• Bob Kost of BRW, Inc. should be consulted regarding Central Park. The City <br />has committed $250,000 toward park improvements <br />VIII. OTHER BUSINESS <br />Jindra added that the Salvation Army property is for sale. Wolf stated that the <br />Salvation Army property was rezoned from commercial to recreational many years ago. <br />Koehntop and Siggelkow agreed that the City should purchase the property north of <br />Well House N4, if it becomes available. <br />Parks Commissioners commented as follows: <br />• Siggelkow inquired if any design presented at the Ice Cream Social was <br />preferred <br />• Morris asked that a new Parks Commissioner be appointed by the next meeting <br />• Jensen asked that a time table be devised regarding all park improvements <br />• Siggelkow stated that a comprehensive plan be considered before improvements <br />are made to Central Park <br />• Koehntop suggested and Siggelkow agreed that Chair Jindra solicit the public <br />for volunteers to form sub -committees to study and make recommendations for <br />park equipment purchases. <br />IX.
