ANTHONY 3 4 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES 5 6 February 12, 2001 7 I• CALL TO ORDER. 8 Chair Jindra called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance. 9 0 II• ROLL CALL. 1 Present: 2 Chair Carol Jindra, Vice Chair Doug Koehntop, Commissioners 3 Dan Ganley, Julie Gebhardt, Colleen Hallada, Jan Jenson, and q George Wagner. Absent: 6 None. 7 Also present: g Public Works Director Jay Hartman, Representative from 9 Community Services Diane Skrivseth, Representative from School 0 Board Denise Dunn, Representative from Sports Boosters George Zurbey; Maury Anderson; Molly Olivier, SEH; Bob Kost, BRW and Augie Wong, BRW. 3 III• APPROVAL OF JANUARY 29, 2001 SPECIAL MEETINGS MINUTES. 4 Motion by Ganley, second by Wagner, to a 5 with the following changes: pprove the January 29, 2001 Special Meeting Minutes Correct the name Jensen to reflect imam - approve Second by Zurbev to a 2001 of the CommissioCommission asZurbeyi s a non- voting member of the Parks Conrmmission made by one Motion carried unanimously, SEH. IV. DISCUSS PAVILION AND WARMING HOUSE DESIGN — MOLLY OLIVIER FROM Jindra introduced Molly Olivier, SEH, to provide an update on the Pavilion and Design. Ms. Olivier began with the Central park lWarming House ayout for the approval of the Parks Commission in order to move to the next phase of design development and design finishes including carpet, flooring, and exterior block. Ms. Olivier reviewed the floor plan and elevations, both interior and exterior. She also asked for input regarding the concession stand. In reviewing the floor plan, Ms. Olivier pointed out that the warming house faces the hockey rink to the east with the soccer fields to the south. The vestibule and break-out area has been created to have the option of usage as one room for larger groups or the capability of closing the area off with the option of renting it out to smaller groups leaving the warming house accessible.
