Weiss, P.E.
Peter R, Willenbring, P.E.
Donald W. Sterna, P.E.
Ronald B. Bray, P.E.
The St. Anthony Village Parks Commission forwarded to me a copy of your March 8, 1999
letter which outlines your concerns with the design of improvements for Silver Point Park.
Your concerns were discussed at the April 12, 1999 St. Anthony Village Parks Commission
meeting. Below please find the items discussed at this meeting and a response to your
concerns:
I. Park Lighting
The current project does not include lighting within Silver Point Park. The Lighting
needs for Silver Point Park will be reviewed by the Parks Commission at a future
date. Prior to the installation of any lighting, residents will be contacted and a public
meeting held to discuss lighting related issues.
II. Landscaping and Noise
The Silver Point Park project includes landscaping along County Road 88 and areas
surrounding the peripheral of the park. It is anticipated that as these trees mature
they will, again, provide a barrier between County Road 88 and residents adjacent to
Silver Point Park.
III. Sledding Hill
Sledding will be available in the southeast corner of the park on a north -facing
slope.
Infrastructure Engineers Planners
F:\WPWiMI065.31\041699-ds.wpd
EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
