CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />2 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br />3 NOVEMBER 9, 1998 <br />4 I. TOUR WATER TOWER PARK SITE WITH BOB KOST, BRW, INC. <br />5 The Parks Commission toured the Water Tower Park site with Bob Kost, BRW, Inc., at 5:30 <br />6 P.M., followed by a box lunch in the Community Center Conference Room. <br />7 II. CALL TO ORDER. <br />8 The meeting was called to order by Chair Jindra at 6:30 P.M. <br />9 III. ROLL CALL. <br />10 Commissioners Present: Chair Carol Jindra, Vice Chair Doug Koehntop, Commissioners <br />I l Joanne Kosciolek, Paul Louiselle, Diana Roadfeldt, and George <br />12 Wagner. <br />13 Also Present: Public Works Director Jay Hartman; School Board Representative <br />14 (Kathie Wolff); Sports Boosters Representative (Jan Jensen); and <br />15 Bob Kost, BRW. <br />16 Commissioners Absent: Tim Morris and Don Siggelkow. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF OCTOBER 8,1998 PARKS COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES. <br />. a Motion by Wagner, second by Louiselle to approve the minutes of the October 8, 1998 meeting. <br />19 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />20 V. DESIGNATE PARKS COMMISSIONER TO NOVEMBER 17,1998 PLANNING <br />21 COMMISSION AND NOVEMBER 24,1998 CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS. <br />22 Wagner agreed to attend the November 17, 1998 Planning Commission meeting. Jindra agreed <br />23 to attend the November 24, 1998 City Council meeting. <br />24 Jindra recommended the acceptance of Wagner as a full Commissioner, stating he brings over 1- <br />25 1/2 years of experience to the Parks Commission with his participation on the Parks Task Force <br />26 and as Community Services representative to the Parks Commission. She added he serves as full <br />27 Commissioner on the Planning Commission, and will report at their upcoming meeting. <br />28 VI. DISCUSS WATER TOWER PARK AND OVERALL CENTRAL PARK PLAN. <br />29 A. Determine sub -committees. <br />30 Jindra stated Kost's input would be helpful in the formation of sub -committees to focus on <br />31 planning issues related to Central Park. She added some discussion had taken place with regard <br />32 to public involvement in the process. <br />13 <br />Koehntop asked whether a definitive timeline had been determined which could be presented to <br />35 the public. Jindra stated a public hearing might be considered redundant after the ice cream <br />
