CALL TO ORDER. <br />11 Chair Jindra called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. and welcomed everyone in attendance. <br />12 <br />13 H. ROLL CALL. <br />14 Present: Chair Jindra, Vice Chair Doug Koehntop, Commissioners Daniel <br />15 Ganley, Julie Gebhardt, Colleen Hallada, Jan Jensen, and George <br />16 Wagner. <br />17 <br />18 Absent: None. <br />19 <br />20 Also Present: Public Works Director Jay Hartman; Representative from <br />21 Community Services Diane Skrivseth; Representative from Sports <br />22 Boosters George Zurbey; Representative from the School Board <br />23 Rick Dunn; Independent Contractor Maury Anderson; Brad <br />2° Forbrook SEH; Rich Koechlein URS. <br />2. <br />26 The Commission Toured Central Park along with the architect for the shelter, Troy Erdal, Football <br />27 Coach, and Rick Dunn of the School Board. <br />28 <br />29 Chair Jindra introduced Rich Koechlein with URS who was taking the place of Augie Wong who was <br />30 promoted. <br />31 <br />32 H1. APPROVAL AUGUST 12, 2002 PARKS COMMISSION MINUTES. <br />33 Motion by Commissioner Koehntop, second by Commissioner Jensen, to approve the August 12, <br />34 2002 Parks Commission Meeting Minutes. <br />35 <br />36 Motion carried unanimously. <br />37 <br />38 IV. UPDATE ON PROJECTS — Rich KOECHLEIN (URS) AND BRAD FORBROOK (SEH). <br />39 Chair Jindra introduced Brad Forbrook from SEH. Mr. Forbrook showed the Commission a <br />40 color board and described how the building would look and the colors that would be in the <br />41 building. Commissioner Ganley asked what the dimensions of the tiles were. Mr. Forbrook <br />42 stated he believed they were sixteen inch square but he was not positive. <br />43 <br />44 Commissioner Gebhardt asked if it was a rolled carpet. Mr. Forbrook stated it was. <br />45 Commissioner Gebhardt asked what would happen if the carpet was damaged. Mr. Forbrook <br />46 stated it would need to be cut out and replaced. <br />4- <br />48 Mr. Anderson stated it would take a lot to damage the carpet and skates would never ruin it <br />
