Hartman indicated that
it was school property. Commissioner Gebhardt indicated that she would follow-up on the need
for the bathroom.
Chair Jindra referred to the quarterly newsletter to which she contributes. She indicated that they
are quickly running out of funds from the city, and wondered about a wish -list program where
residents could buy anything for the park from equipment to trees.
Vice Chair Koehntop stated that they needed to determine the specifics before they make any
promises that they do not want to keep.
Anderson indicated that a fiberglass plaque would work for a marker on trees, if the Commission
wanted to offer the option. He added that a signed thank -you letter from the mayor was another
option. He suggested that they be sure to be consistent with whatever they decide to do.
Hartman stated that he was in favor of donations of trees, as they are the most permanent.
The Commission tossed around a few ideas regarding a donation program, and decided that they
would think about it and re -visit the issue at the next meeting.
Anderson indicated that they would need to stay on top of the program in order for it to be
successful.
ADJOURNMENT.
Motion by Commissioner Jenson, second by Vice Chair Koehntop, to adjourn the meeting at
7:51 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Courtney Seesz
Timesaver Off Site Secretarial, Inc.
Motion carried unanimouslv.
